    Our client is looking for a full-time ColdFusion Developer to assist in support of existing FDA applications. The developer must develop, maintain, enhance and support fully functioning applications using ColdFusion. The ideal candidate will possess five plus years’ experience with Cold Fusion and Web environment (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, IIS) & SQL. The Developer will interface with clients and the integrated project team so strong, clear written and verbal communication skills are a must.

    Experience:
     
    • Knowledge of FDA Compliance Management System preferred
    • Strong SQL coding background; understanding of SQL statement optimization/tuning.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant computer-related field or 8 years equivalent experience.
    • At least 5 years of experience with the development and maintenance of complex applications using ColdFusion, JavaScript, and complex SQL queries.
    • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, cascading style sheets, and frames
    • Knowledge of source control (Subversion)

    Project Description:

    The Java Developer will develop, implement, test, and deploy Java / J2EE and web-based solutions and integrate and customize applications based on customer specifications.     • Possesses a broad understanding of the DW architecture (Data model, ETL and BI/OLAP reporting)
    • Designs and develops necessary batch interfaces to and from MDM hub
    • Builds unit test scripts for custom components. Conducts Regression Testing of new releases of SW components within the MDM repository
    • Quickly achieve a working knowledge of the existing CDER environment and system functionality to be able to understand and implement required enhancements
    • Provide technical support to analysts and testers, participating in the requirements process and providing technical input as needed regarding requirements feasibility and current system functionality
    • Documentation and update of existing technical artifacts such as design documentation, O&M manual, etc.
    • Deep understanding of Data Profiling, Data Cleansing, Data Standardization
    • Development and unit testing of software enhancements based on approved requirements and design
    • Support for system and user acceptance testing
    • Support of deployment process
    • Experienced in full life cycle process and familiar with agile methodology
    • Experience with Subversion
    • Candidate must have ability to effectively communicate in English (written and verbal)
    • Perform peer document reviews and code reviews to ensure adherence to user requirements as well as applicable standards and conventions.

    Qualifications:
     
    • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, computer science, or related field preferred
    • Consulting experience a plus
    • FDA experience a plus

    Project:
    Our customer is in the process of implementing several Master Data Management efforts using the Informatica Multi-Domain MDM COTS software. An integrated MDM platform would allow the Agency to deliver a robust solution

    The Sr. ETL Developer must have a solid understanding of PowerCenter 9.5 is essential for this position as well as a proven ability to work quickly and independently and to provide professional documentation.
     
    Requirements:
     
    • 5 years of demonstrated experience in designing ETL processes using Informatica for high-volume, complex data environments
    • 3 years of data warehouse data modeling experience
    • Develop Extract, Transformation and Loading (ETL) procedures for implementing data integration and data loading tasks
    • Experience with SQL, Oracle 9/11g, MS Access, Excel, PL/SQL, SQL Loader and BI tools; and techniques
    • Develop new ETL application using Informatica Power Center to load large amount of data from multiple data sources into Data Repository using Oracle database
    • Develop Data Integration procedures using Informatica suite of tools
    • Develop SQL programs and Stored Procedures as required for the ETL processes and Data Integration activities
    • Provide support to technical team, write the necessary required documentation as per the FDA development methodology for ETL processes, and develop unit test plan, test cases and resolve ETL related test problems
    • Flexible and capable of juggling multiple priorities and willing to do what it takes to meet critical deadlines
    • Experience in designing, developing and implementing mobile reporting solutions, preferred
    • Exposure to data modeling tools like ERWIN, Visio, Toad designer etc., preferred

    Roles and Responsibilities
     
    • Serve as the Government’s primary point-of-contact and to provide overall leadership and guidance for all Contractor personnel assigned to the client
    • Responsible for the quality and efficiency of all work performed on the contract
    • Have the ultimate authority to commit our organization and make decisions for our organization in response to Government issues, concerns, or problems
    • Be readily available to respond to Government questions, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues
    • The Program Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all projects within the Program to ensure they meet the overall Program objectives and are delivered on time and within Enterprise-wide systems and applications

    It is desirable that the PM has the following experience as a Program Manager managing large multi-task projects (of at least $15M/annual) with:
     
    • PMP certification
    • 15+ years of applicable experience.
    • Demonstrated experience managing a multi-task information technology project in the Federal Government
    • Demonstrated management experience of a team consisting of at least 50 staff, in varying labor categories
    • Demonstrated experience of superior stakeholder management and collaboration
    • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including experience in presenting material to senior Government official
    • Demonstrated experience managing manpower utilization, procurement, training, problem resolution, and employee relations (including subcontractors)
    • Knowledge of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) a big plus

    Project technical environment:
