Dovèl Technologies president and CEO Paul Leslie told us a few months ago when he started leading this McLean-based government contractor that he would be making acquistions. The first of many to come is ZapThink, a Baltimore-based training and advisory firm that specializes in service-oriented architecture. The small firm brings Jason Bloomberg, a SOA expert who will lead ZapThink as a Dovèl subsidiary. ZapThink’s twice-monthly SOA newsletter has 20K subscribers that include IT execs, enterprise architects and other IT experts. Paul says those readers will provide a base of potential new customers. ZapThink also provides SOA training to commercial customers like GE, Nike, Booz Allen Hamilton, University of Toronto, and Shaw Communications.
