Chief Technology Officer and Cofounder, IDV Solutions.

Ian Clemens is the Chief Technology Officer for IDV Solutions. In this role, he spearheads the technical strategy for IDV’s products and services. Bringing over 10 years experience in the technology and consulting industries, he oversees research, development, deployment and system operations.

Prior to co-founding IDV Solutions, Ian formed and led the technology solutions group at Universal Map, the second largest publisher of geographic information in the United States. In this role, he headed up their Web-based mapping initiative, which focused on bringing businesses standards-based Web mapping tools using nascent XML standards. Ian holds a degree in Applied Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and master’s degree in Christian Studies from Regent College, Vancouver, BC.
