Reactivity enables its customers to reliably secure and scale their
XML/Web services applications, a need that is expected to dramatically
increase over the next several years. According to industry analysts at
ZapThink, a firm that focuses on XML and Web services, the XML and Web
services security market is expected to reach $4.4 billion by 2006. Web
services will become the dominant distributed computing architecture in the
next 10 years and will eventually define the fabric of computing, according to
the research firm IDC. Eighty percent of U.S. enterprises will have some type
of Web services project under way by 2008, and Web services will drive a total
software, services and hardware opportunity in the U.S. of $21 billion by
2007.
